It is with great pride and gratitude that we look back on the \"Cibersegurança e Proteção de Dados, na Prática\" event, organised by Apus Trust, a company specialised in cybersecurity and data protection, on 14 March to mark its first anniversary.
With the magnificent auditorium at the EEM’s Casa da Luz Museum packed to capacity, 150 participants benefited from the exchange of experiences, knowledge and perspectives in the fields of cybersecurity and data protection. We would like to thank Eng. Davide Sousa (Director of the Information Systems Department at EEM) for his opening remarks, journalist Miguel Garda (Rádio JM/FM) for his excellent moderation of the debate, and the speakers for their brilliant contributions: Eng. Nuno Perry (Director of Cybersecurity Services at the Regional Government of Madeira), Dr Carla Freitas (CISO at EEM), Dr Filipe Marques (Director of the Cardoso Group), Professor Eduardo Marques (Lecturer and Researcher at UMa in the field of cybersecurity) and Eng. Vitorino Gouveia (Managing Director of Apus Trust and Specialist in Cybersecurity and Data Protection).
We would also like to thank EEM, Xis Group, JM Madeira, Justinos Madeira and Frutas Classe M for their support in organising the event.
The toast and socialising at the end left us with a sense of a job well done and a desire to do more and better, together with you!
