The IA Act, a European regulation aimed at improving the internal market by establishing a uniform legal framework, in particular for the development, placing on the market, putting into service and use of artificial intelligence systems in the European Union, was published on 13 June.
This Regulation will enter into force on 3 July 2024, i.e. on the twentieth day following its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States from 2 August 2026; however:
